Moviementum Relaunch & Jim Beam Couchtour

The new website of the Austrian film production company Moviementum was launched. Flash elements are used to add more life to it, without distracting too much from the content. The concept was developed in cooperation with their team and led to an individually designed and built website.
Also another Facebook Application for Jim Beam was designed and developed in cooperation with Yackety Yak. This project also involved the design of online advertising creatives.
In other news the online shop Plantano.de was supported with the development of their concept for a flash-based plant-configurator.
Concerning my happy little independent projects, Pet Zombie received an update and is brain-chomping away on more than 1000 Facebook fans.

Facebook, Flash Apps & a music video

Designed, illustrated & developed a Facebook Invitation App for Jim Beam in cooperation with agency upstart Yackety Yak. The campaign also included traditional advertising creatives. Developed Flash Apps for sol4ad (also for desktop, using mProjector). Finally released a music video I created for the british band Traffic Experiment a few years ago. And I illustrated another quarterly children’s riddle (now to be seen on my references page). Other interesting projects are on their way!

Alright, so a little wrap-up of the last few months - More eLearning content in the works, this time with Akamedia-Soft. Various cool Flash stuff for Sol4Ad. Some office days over at the nice folks from Scoop. An Event Schedule Flashmodule for a DJ website that merges and displays several Google Calendar RSS feeds. And of course yet another children’s riddle. Wow, I love those.

Work and Play

I spent most of August either camping or on music festivals, so I haven’t been working much during this time. Nonetheless I did some graphics work (Logo Design, Illustrating a site plan and another children’s riddle) as well as a bit of Flash development (Updates on RickHeis.com). Time to go back to production mode though, all play and no work make Manuel a dull boy.

Facebook, ComicGen revival and an experimental Short

My recent experimental short “Shards and Splinters” was released on MINDistortion.tv and a few other Websites. Facebook saw the dawn of my first Facebook Application, a transfer of my Flash Gadget Pocket Emo. And the Ars Electronica Linz commissioned a new version of the ComicGen, which will soon be found online as part of 80plus1.org.

Kids, DJs and the Raven

The last month gave me the opportunity to create and illustrate a riddle for children. I hope the kid’s will enjoy it, I definitely enjoyed making it. There’s also been some work for Mister Beat DJ Services. “Die Nacht des Rabens”, as announced on the flyer in my references turned out a fun event. And what I almost forgot to mention: I also created a Flash based RSS reader for the Twitter feed of one of my clients.
