The long overdue update

Alright, so what happened the last couple of months? Quite a lot actually and a lot of the usual, so I’ll just cut it short. A whole bunch of advertising creatives (TUI, la pura, Ruefa, various streaming video creatives for film releases) and other Flash elements for the Designers in Motion. Interactive Math and Biology eLearning content for akamedia. Various Illustrations for lwmedia and other clients. A sequel of the EVN Kart Challenge Browsergame I did for YacketyYak in 2010. Dialogue marketing creatives for Dialog Systems (former Sol4Ad). And Kiosk browser software for A-P & E.

The Force is strong with this one

After a hiatus due to some travelling in January, here a breakdown of the last few months:
On the commercial side of the Force, I designed and programmed a Facebook Fanpage for the Happy Schenkcard, in cooperation with the Designers in Motion. With the same agency I also created various other Flash Elements and Advertising Creatives, some including streaming video, for GMX and other clients. In addition eLearning content for Akamedia was created, as well as a new Kid’s Riddle for the Wirtshauskultur Zeitung.
On the artsy side of the force, I was invited to the Biennale Area in Venice by the Ars Electronica Center, where some of my animated shorts were part of an exhibition. Until the 17th of April my media installation “Desynchronized” can be seen in Pöchlarn, during the course of the Kulturfenster. And at last but not least, I released a new Flash Game on MINDistortion.tv, called infect. evolve. repeat. 2.

60 Second Life, eLearning, Ads

I finally took a short breath and worked on a personal game project:
60 Second Life. It was released across several flash gaming platforms and as a Facebook application.
Some major eLearning projects that were in development for several weeks / months have been finished. The new website of the IGB was developed, based on a redesign created by their graphic designer. Took care of various flash banner campaigns, some other flash elements and a new children’s riddle.

Facebook Flash Games for the EVN

Amongst several running projects and some smaller comissions, two flash games for the EVN Powerteam competition went live. The EVN E-Kart Challenge and the EVN Solar Puzzle this summer. Both games were created in cooperation with the social media agency Yackety Yak.
I was responsible for the game design, graphics and development, Yackety Yak took care of plugging the games into Facebook and the music we licensed came from two freelance musicians.

Moviementum Relaunch & Jim Beam Couchtour

The new website of the Austrian film production company Moviementum was launched. Flash elements are used to add more life to it, without distracting too much from the content. The concept was developed in cooperation with their team and led to an individually designed and built website.
Also another Facebook Application for Jim Beam was designed and developed in cooperation with Yackety Yak. This project also involved the design of online advertising creatives.
In other news the online shop Plantano.de was supported with the development of their concept for a flash-based plant-configurator.
Concerning my happy little independent projects, Pet Zombie received an update and is brain-chomping away on more than 1000 Facebook fans.

Facebook, Flash Apps & a music video

Designed, illustrated & developed a Facebook Invitation App for Jim Beam in cooperation with agency upstart Yackety Yak. The campaign also included traditional advertising creatives. Developed Flash Apps for sol4ad (also for desktop, using mProjector). Finally released a music video I created for the british band Traffic Experiment a few years ago. And I illustrated another quarterly children’s riddle (now to be seen on my references page). Other interesting projects are on their way!

Alright, so a little wrap-up of the last few months - More eLearning content in the works, this time with Akamedia-Soft. Various cool Flash stuff for Sol4Ad. Some office days over at the nice folks from Scoop. An Event Schedule Flashmodule for a DJ website that merges and displays several Google Calendar RSS feeds. And of course yet another children’s riddle. Wow, I love those.

Projects A Go Go!
